Judge Bex has rescued a duck called Darcy who can’t swim, Connor makes it very clear how he feels about snakes, and there are two brand new cases for the court.

Harris is taking his mum to court because she won’t let him have a pet snake. He’s learnt about snakes at Cubs, he’s picked out a corn snake, and he’s even worked out where a 65-centimetre tank would fit in his room. Mum isn’t a snake person, she thinks he should wait until he’s old enough to look after one on his own, and she’s only just found out what corn snakes eat… So does Harris get his snake?

Then nine-year-old Frankie from London takes his mum Caroline to court. Frankie missed some school, so over the summer holidays Mum printed out a pile of extra maths, English and writing for him to catch up on. Frankie says the summer holidays are not for homework, and for once Lauren and Connor agree with each other. Then Judge Bex tests Caroline on one of Frankie’s fractions questions… Whose side will the court take?
